Occasions worth a surprise
Birthdays: instead of the usual song, the birthday person hears their favourite songs on live oud, with the family singing along.
Valentine’s Day: a quiet evening for two, with classic love songs by Umm Kulthum, Abdel Halim and Fairuz, or the song that means something to you both.
Wedding anniversaries: we bring back your wedding song, or the song your story began with, in an intimate family setting.
Graduations: welcome the graduate home with a small zaffa of percussion and oud, a proud moment in front of the family.
Coming home from travel: a song from home on the oud is a warm way to say welcome back.
Coming home from hospital: when someone dear returns home safely, we offer a gentle session, soft in volume and short, at their own pace, so they feel the whole house celebrating their return.
How it works
- Message us on WhatsApp with the occasion, date, location and number of guests.
- We choose the songs together in advance, to suit your loved one’s taste: Arabic, Gulf, Emirati or classic tarab.
- We plan the moment of arrival with you: at the door, once everyone has gathered, or as the cake comes in.
- The session runs 30 to 60 minutes, as solo oud, oud with percussion, or with a singer, depending on the occasion.
Small homes don’t need big speakers; the oud carries naturally, and we can bring sound if needed. Please book at least one day in advance.
